I’m certainly not the only one discussing the tensions between religious freedom and “individual rights” in our culture. However, some have asked me how long I have been addressing this topic. The answer to that question would be, “for a few years now.” Here’s an article(opens in new window) I wrote for the Biblical Recorder in 2013 that lays the foundation for change in our nation–a change that will only come when the Church starts to value its commitment to Jesus Christ as much as the LGBTQ community values its commitment to licentiousness.
